Here are some additions to already good crafting system. This mod covers some missing craft recipes and adds some unique crafting ideas. For making armor dyeing alive, need to change 3 of the vanilla stats in files.
In case this helps: I've dyed a few different armors and noticed that sometimes only a part of the armor actually changes color, something that's just a highlight and not the main color of the chestpiece. So until you dye it's hard to even tell what you're going to change. Another reason I think dye should just be easier to come by.:p.
I have changed armor stats on and objects.txt ItemProgressionVisuals.txt and inventory of ingredient traders on TreasureTable.txt. Ask the modder if he/she changed these entries in those files.

Honestly this mod is the def of QOL. Only thing you'd avoid is maybe the weapon enhancements, and even then it's not unbalancing, because everything craftable is comparable to vendors' stuff. Basically elvasat fixed the shitty and incomplete crafting system Larian completely screwed up- most everything uses in-game existing assets and reasonable assumptions based on logical (for the setting) combinations. All the stuff you mentioned using changes way more, gameplay wise, than this mod does.
Don't craft anything you don't want.
I would pray to modders rather than Larian at this point.' A is on the horizon, and we are aiming to release it next week.' That's this week. And the point of this reply is alluding to. What, exactly? That they're patching the game? Silly to think they wouldn't.What I mean by my OP, is that the armour dye system is entirely cosmetic and I doubt they rate it as highly as other problems for a while on their laundry list of incessant whining by the community, which isn't to say unjustified. This is all of course presuming I'm not out-of-the-loop or missed something in their announcement.
Which, of course, is entirely plausible.I should be paying attention to this seminar IRL right now, but Divinity 2 is so wonderful.Re: Armor Dyes - Are they a thing?02/10/17 09:58 PM 02/10/17 09:58 PMJoined: Jan 2010Posts: 362. They put fixing the previously removed Whetstone on their patch agenda, so modders may be able to add the Whetstone to the game. They're also going to explore making new weapon types possible and rebinding mouse actions to keys. Granted, those are all changes for modders and the editor, but apparently, they have some freedom in terms of what they can prioritize. Also, armor dyes are probably possible now with mods. The dyes already exist.
Someone just needs to have enough interest in dyes to make the mod.Re: Armor Dyes - Are they a thing?03/10/17 02:53 AM 03/10/17 02:53 AMJoined: Sep 2011Posts: 24. I'm got $20 NZD for any modder who'll do this, not in a 'Creation Club' type of corporate commander type of thing, more a 'I really want my party to be all in Locust Red for Adventures' type of thing. Do not mention It! Its name is forbidden and will only bring misery to those who utter it!ok Im sorry i'm just bored and the whole creation club thing drove me away from bethesda and into the divinity fanbase.Re: Armor Dyes - Are they a thing?03/10/17 08:24 PM 03/10/17 08:24 PMJoined: May 2010Posts: 2,771.
