The Sims 2 is an old program that causes/d issues for many, I thought I would share my experience of getting past 'The Sims 2 Update Error' when installing expansions.You will need this file, so download it now: Install the Sims 2 normally from disc2. Copy the files from inside the downloaded zip and folder to 'c:Program Files (x86)EA GAMESThe Sims 2' and confirm to override the files already there. This will make the program not need to update anymore!3.

My sticky notes file won't open. I have some pretty important information on there I haven't backed up onto anything else, so this's kind of. 
It sounds like we need to reset the app. Click start - settings - apps - find sticky notes - click on it and hit advanced options and then reset. Reboot when done, and see if they work again. Open ccleaner - then click on Tools - Uninstall, and find Microsoft sticky notes.
