Method 2 – Fix windows 10 reboots in sleep mode. Step 1 – Search Task Scheduler in the windows 10 taskbar. Step 2 – Browse to the followoing location path from the left menu. Task Scheduler Library – Microsoft – Windows – UpdateOrchestrator. Now, Double click on Reboot as shown in the pic below.

If you have Windows 10 Home, then that's about all you can do. If you've got Pro, of course you can pause and defer updates from the Settings app and there are some other useful Windows Update options in gpedit.msc.I do believe has an option to completely disable updates as well, so that would work for Home, but you'd have to remember to turn updates back on every once in a while and do them to stay secure and stuff.
May 2, 2018 - Microsoft somehow managed to sort it out before the end of April and thus the release name - Windows 10 April Update. This update has a lot. Change Power Settings in Windows 10. You can fix the computer not able to wake up from sleep issue in Windows 10 by changing the Power Settings. Click Start, type Power Options and select the Power Options. Click on the Choose when to turn off the display.

I feel like I talk about ShutUp10 a lot on this sub, but it's only because I love it and use it with every single Windows 10 computer I own.As for the shutdown blocker thing you've mentioned, I've never heard of such a tool. Maybe you could try hibernating your computer instead of putting it to sleep? Then Windows couldn't wake it up I guess.Hope one of these solutions was helpful!.
