Whilst installing I skipped the Product Key page twice. After installing I checked the Activation and the Build was Activated. Maybe it's linked to my Microsoft account.Although my build 10240 was activated, there was no 'fast' or 'slow' option in Update.I clean reinstall build 10166 which saw the 10240 build and downloaded it. I have the fast and slow options now. This seems to contradict Mr Aul's blog. Well the upgrade path just hosed the Win 10 installation.

The last one that was stable was 10166 have taken updates and now won't boot to Windows 10 partition. Re-wrote boot menu, no problem booting into 8.1;After the last update attempt got notification that there was trouble installing updates. Got stuck on updating Windows Defender.

Tried re-boot now, will not boot to Win 10 Insiders Preview.I hope this doesn't happen this coming week when I upgrade my Windows 8.1 installation to Windows 10 RTM.
