Proteam corvette. Hi JoelFirstly, you should get 12 months out of Spark Plug before changing them as part of a maintenance thing. My first thought was Rings/Bore. If you have excessive wear here you will heavily oil your plugs.

You may need (or someone with a few tools) to pop the hood and take a look in the bore of your new purchase.Second thought was to check your intake end. You may have a blocked air filter or dirty jets giving you a rich mixture? Can you go back to the dealer/person you bought the bike off? You may have been shafted mate.Maybe you could give us an idea of the year etc?The champion plug may be a 'hotter' plug giving you false results.

Using the incorrect plug will eventually cause damage to your engine.Let us know a bit more? I was going to go ahead and take the head off and see what everything looks like but i really didnt feel like it but i guess now i will.i just cleaned the carb and took the airfilter off and it didnt help any. The only jet with numbers on it i found said 32.5 is that stock or not.

The hole in it is really big compared to what i have messed with. Old vw's mainly.

I dont know what all has been put on it. It has boysen stickers on it but i dont know if it has them in it and it gots good comp. I dont know the number but i will try soon to check it.i might be able to trade back but i really dont want to.

The begining of spring i was planning on rebuilding it and make it read for race. So i might just have to do it sooner.

I really dont think that i got shafted but i could be wrong. The one thing i am wondering if it might be the gasket to block off the trans from the crank case or something like that and it is letting oil seap in and burn it up.i dont know the year but have the serial number off of the frame if anyone knows a place to get the year.i put a new plug in it and it ran like a dream again but when i tryed to run it the next morning i got about 30 feet after warming up and it spudered and died. If you clean the plug it will run for like 20 sec and then die again. I think it is only putting out like 100 or 1000 volts. I dont have a book on it and i was trying to find out what wires where what so i could hook a light up to it and i found the kill wire from the motor and it read one of those. I think it was 1000. Also it isnt putting out much juice for the light i was only getting like.5 volts.also before this started to happen it would sometime would let something loose like blowing out a junk of carbon and there would be alot of smoke but then it would stop.

The stock silence was taken apart and there is no baffle and the pipe is a aftermarket with no name. It is steel color.thanksjoel. I only found one jet in it that had numbers on it and i cant remember where it was but it had 32.5 stamped in it.

And it does smoke a whole lot and it really doesnt smell. I was thinking the same thing because sometimes it does smoke alot like it is spiting out some trash and burning it and other times it doesnt smoke as much. Also how do i check the transmision oil in it.

Yamaha Blaster Oem Cylinder

I was told there is a sight gauge somewhere on it but i cant find it anywhere.thanksjoelps the main bearings on the crank are going out. They are making lots of noise.
